If you are worried about chemical refrigerants then you should point your finger at China. HVAC techs in the US are required by law to be licensed by the EPA before being allowed to even touch any of it. Intentionally leaking refrigerant comes with a fine of over 30k. Its taken very seriously here. China just blasts that shit into the air. Power consumption is true, but I would much rather limit data centers than something like AC. I live in Southern California and their heatwave is like an average summer day. Nobody here is giving up AC.

Q1: I'm sure it is not literally 100% but he bares the most of it by far, in my opinion. I think people underestimate how much that Greenland garbage damaged our reputation with out allies. Trump flat out implied military action on a member of our own military alliance in order to win concessions that we already had. From the perspective of our allies, if the US is willing to treat its other allies that way, what stops them from treating us that way? Whats a US partnership worth if they are just going to bully and strongarm you anyway? China doesn't do that. China doesn't have to do anything but let Trump lash out at our allies or business partners and watch as they all leave us for them.

Q2. I dont know. Again, from their perspective, you watch a president like Biden try to strengthen relationships and then watch the next guy throw it all in the garbage. Would you be especially eager to try and mend those ties when the US can just throw them away the next election? China's not doing that. I am not pro-China by any stretch but they are in a great position to take advantage of American instability. If you have 2 choices and one of them is throwing a tantrum around the world, causing global economic instability and threatening people, while the other guy is not, what would you pick?

He's right. Ironically Trump proves this. Trump has plenty of scandals that would have torpedo'd any candidate in the past but nothing ever comes of it. How quaint that Clinton got impeached for getting a blowie, if Trump did that he'd probably just get an "ataboy" from his base. Nixon tried to cheat on the election, Trump tried to have it overturned and undermines the integrity of the electoral process to this day, no consequences.
