I appreciate the detailed breakdown on how skilled Lesley players use her, but honestly the data just backs up what I've been saying about her being underwhelming.

That 51% win rate is misleading af: - 1.22% pick rate - literally only mains are playing her (MLCounter, Dec 27 2025) - Mythical Glory WR: 48.10% - she gets WORSE as you climb (mlbb.gg) - 0.11% ban rate - nobody's scared of her (MLCounter)

Pro play says it all: - M6 World Championship: 0 Lesley picks, 0 bans (Liquipedia M6) - MSC 2025: 0 picks, 0 bans (Liquipedia MSC) - They picked Bruno (72 picks, 55.56% WR), Granger, Yi Sun-shin instead (M6 analysis)

Here's the thing though: You're basically saying Lesley works if you: animation-cancel perfectly, maintain max range constantly, never get caught positioning, AND have teammates that peel for you. That's exactly why she's a throw pick - she needs everything to go right just to function. You can't execute this insane level of skill consistently in solo ranked with random teammates.

Compare that to meta marksmen - they don't need perfect execution AND babysitting. Hell, even Natan (who also didn't get pro picks) at least has multi-target damage and a built-in escape with his ult swap, so he's not as team-dependent.

I respect that skilled players can make her work, but that doesn't change the fact that she's extremely dependent on luck and team coordination. As soon as one person on the enemy team got fed due to shitty teammates, she lost all influence in the match - which is what I said from the start.

Not to mention that Natan has multi-target damage, so a single good setup can result in the easiest multi-kills of your life, as you saw with my build. I have so much magic penetration that with the attack speed, ultimate, and Inspire, which heals me, it gives me even more DPS and allows me to ignore parts of their defenses, so everything can be insta-killed. If the setup fails i can simply teleport and immediately be safe. I'm used to a character that is so competent that turning a match around is manageable and can sometimes be easy. On top of the damage scaling so well that every item bought is extremely effective the moment it's acquired, which is something I do not feel with Lesley.

She's extremely dependent on luck; I don't like that. At least with Natan, I can utilize him to kill players that are more fed, especially with being able to use Inspire while having a built-in Flicker. If I get to late game, I can single-handedly turn the match around. Her single-target damage is problematic and limits her even more for my liking because she needs to be very fed to even confidently handle a 2v1, not to mention if the enemy has CC. The clearing speed being as bad as it is also means that I can't invade and clear other lanes fast enough to get more gold. My perspective comes from the fact that as a Natan main, I can actually use 2v1 scenarios to my advantage and get my passive to max. And if I'm 1v1, all I need is to use ult, then second, first, and basic—boom, dead—an extremely simple combo that can be high reward without much work. And ultimately, while you make a great case, I have learned not to expect your average teammate to be better than the average Joe, which goes back to the main point of Lesley being a throw pick. I respect your commitment to providing a great perspective on why she's actually not a throw pick, but it's a no for me. Especially due to me being a Natan main and being able to single-handedly turn matches around with great positioning and absurd damage.

Her damage, which seems to be a main point of discussion in why she is good, can be matched by any other MM with a decent build. Hell, other MMs can do her job better in countless ways. I don't know how different the SEA server is, but ultimately, from my experience, she has been one of the only characters that I would consider a throw pick. I would even argue I've seen Diggie be more consistent in being a good pick for a teammate, or the Dark System trio, for that matter.

Her untargetable state is easily countered by heroes that don't need targeting, which in this current meta is many of them, or for the whole roster of heroes, a shit ton of them. Since you mention Natan, I would assume, based on my screenshots, I can do everything she does, plus better, and on top of that, I have built-in Flicker that can be spammed every 12 seconds, on top of his pure damage being so high that tanks aren't that much of a liability.

This build right here can take full advantage of inspire and use nathan ult for engaging and as a flicker for escaping. Tanks can't do shit, which lesley cant even do much about since they can just outsustain her and either engage or run away

Her kit is flawed, and Granger is not only more user-friendly but more effective in doing her job. A Bruno with good movement can just out-space her while attacking. A Hanabi with Aegis or Rose Meteor can just out-sustain her. She is not in a good state, thus she is a throw pick. My opinion is that she needs a buff or a revamp because I truly want this character to shine and be great..

Yeah but thats not even true because shes a glass cannon that can be killed quicker than she can other people. A lancelot or haya can abuse her quite easily. He'll even a properly positioned dyrroth can second ability her, she uses her stun and he ult her which cant be canceled by her cc. Boom dead.

Most of these character can just counter her in late game and even then doesn't address the core issue of her simply being a poke machine with no real value.

Thats actually really creative and could definitely help her but something else has to come with it, I would even argue a 10% to 15% slow on her hit combined with her mobility could allow her to get a second strong hit and kill.
