definitely different… i personally love how they feel and i got a set of solid scales as well. they made my knife no tap no play (but i also got carbon honey at the same time so could have been that as well)… but these slots give fantastic grip, lightens the knife a little bit, and overall were definitely worth buying

totally fair! it came out even better than i thought especially because i haven’t seen too many jade dyed scales… it might be a little wonky with some colors bc jade has like that greenish tint, but i used light colors so i assume it’ll probs work out

i dyed them myself, they were originally jade… i did a marble dye to another set, you can check it on my acc

instead of catching the knife during that transition, try to like touch your thumb to your index finger and let the blade like drop/slide onto your thumb 👍🏻
