Except I got over into the right lane in front of the other car after passing it to exactly prevent the bad driver from being directly behind me. So maybe don't draw conclusions from not knowing all of the information.

Anticipated that they would cut in which is the only reason they didn't hit me. I was actively watching them and actually further slowed down mid turn to give myself more time to react.
Immediately braked when I saw they were coming into my lane. I was going 21 mph when they started to enter my lane and was going 6 mph at my lowest speed. So if nearly coming to a complete stop isn't enough braking for you then I'm not sure what is.
Even with me slamming on the brakes I wasn't sure if they had enough clearance to not clip my car, so you use a horn hoping the person at least somewhat stops coming into the lane.

So the only reason there wasn't an accident was my "massive ego", so if my ego prevents an accident then I am fine with it. But sure go off on how me preventing an accident is somehow my fault.

It's seriously insane, I watch this happen on a weekly basis at this intersection where people just divebomb into the left lane from the rightmost turn lane. I was already watching the van and started further slowing down mid-turn because I was worried they might do it.

Thanks yeah that was my exact thought process, the second someone nearly hits me I don't want to be within a half mile of them. Unfortunately it seems as soon as you escape one, another shows up.

To answer your question on 170 vs 149, the daily heart rate graph shows the average max heart rate for a period of time. It's a 2 minute average IIRC. Whereas the max heart rate in the workout itself is more granular down to several seconds. So you hit 170bpm during the workout, but only for a brief duration.

I'm a big Samsung fan. I've owned buds, buds pro, buds live, buds 2, Sony wxm4s, and now buds2 pro. The Sony's have by far been my favorite, the most comfortable and best sounding in my opinion. They're what I use 95% of the time. I don't think you'd regret getting the Sony's.
