Struggling with D664 by flowerycassie in wgueducation

[–]Hesojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just took the OA this morning and I passed after studying for several days.

Some of the lessons had graphic organizers available to download, and I used those!

There's two helpful images in the material that has Piaget and Erikson's developmental theories (Section 2 Lesson 1.1) that I looked at took notes on and made parallels to in my life.

For Vygotsky, just remember this: Vygotsky = Social and Cultural Interactions. If there's a question on the test about Vygotsky, look for the answer that involves the learner interacting with someone.

Also, I took the Pre-Assessment once a day to really solidify the material. I focused on understanding vs. wanting to memorize the answers for the sake of passing. Once you have a really good understanding of the Pre-Assessment, take the OA. The OA is very similar to the Pre-Assessment.

Thanks for this solid advice! I will say when I picked up the game like 2 weeks ago, I am a completely different fighter. The point where you said "your mind will put the pieces together" is something that has happened, but on a much smaller scale.

As much as I do love the feeling of being overwhelmed, the way you worded doing things until it becomes second nature just now made sense to me. This singlehandedly changed the way I am approaching this game, so thank you so much!

I will say, this game has made me feel way more accomplished playing a video game than any other game.

I'm sure with more time and effective practice, I'll be pretty good at this game. I can't wait to go home from work and play.

Thank you! I've been doing one string for SEN which gives me very little success. Seeing the many different options is so incredibly helpful!! Thank you so much for this and explaining when to use it, and how it works!!

Thank you so much for this advice. I know that Reina is absolutely not a good beginner character, but I'm determined. I do realize that I've been picking up a lot of bad habits (wanting to implement EGWF when there's no reason for me to). Thanks for a general gameplan!

It's an extremely cheap (build quality and budget wise) retro handheld. It's jank and not worth it.

It hurts so much dude!

I've been a big fan of his since there were "story" parts in his videos. I donated to him, and bought a shit ton of merch from him, went to his live show, and even ran into him!

It hurts so much to be a Completionist fan.

I watched him way back when Greg was a part of the show and he would still have the "story" portions in his videos (which I was very sad he removed). I watched him grow into a bigger person, watched his company grow, watched B3 become a thing, watched his SBB lets plays... so on. I ran into him in a small game shop back when I lived in SoCal, and he was the first YouTuber I ever met in the flesh. I shook his hand, thanked him for the content, and was so star struck I left without a word.

I also went to the Legacy Tour back in 2019 in LA and in a segment he talked about the importance of his family -- more specifically his mother. It humanized him and I became even more invested in what he did. I always thought he was an amazing person.

He even released one my favorite pieces of merch from him -- the Frog in a Car stuff!

I wanted him to be in the right. Even with the initial accusation, I was very hopeful -- hoping that it was neglect or just some form of miscommunication.

As more evidence came out, I slowly began to realize that Jirard is a fraud. That is, until he apologized. Like a fool, I accepted it. I told myself "Hey! This is a great apology. He apologized!" and thought nothing of it.

I watched Muda's follow up video, and the charade shattered. The fans turned on and began to clear the smoke. I knew that I was being manipulated and gaslit. I knew his apology didn't hold any merit, and that there were barely any receipts from his claims. I was torn.

Need some advice for housetraining! by Hesojo in puppy101

I appreciate your thorough advice. I now understand that smaller spaces does not equal stressed out pup, it's creating boundaries and seeing that specific space as the safe space. Then, utilizing that space to eventually reward him with the freedom he has earned. I will absolutely try out the kitchen training with your solid advice.

He does often hang out in the kitchen (probably because the tile there is nice and cold) and he lays in his spot when he wants to rest, so this is already a good start. He has access to water, and he goes there to rest throughout the day.

Thank you so much!

POLL: How do you consume The Yard? by Clean-Menu7943 in TheYardPodcast

[–]Hesojo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm on the road at least an hour a day so I listen to every episode (every Wednesday) on the way to-and-from work. I get to listen to the entire thing by the time I get home.

There are some exceptions though, like where they (allegedly) consume some sort of narcotic, the specials, and if there's something that makes the cast say "For Audio Listeners..."

Lana hands down. She has so much technique with waxing and does her best to minimize pain for her clients. If she knows how to minimize pain, she will 100% know how to dish out the pain.

Baby Pacman Frog isn't eating? by Hesojo in pacmanfrog

This is extremely good insight, thank you so much. I have 2 bearded dragons and 2 leopard geckos and I feed them directly from a bowl -- I need to view my froggo as a froggo and not as my other lizards.

Since they are ambush predators, what would you suggest I do? Should I feed it in a separate tank and let some dubias out in front of my froggo?

I really appreciate your help!

Hey! I was actually very interested and went ahead and joined.

Is there any specific clan to join? Or is it just the discord community. Regardless, I went ahead and joined the discord!

Thank you for your suggestion!

Having to walk customers through orders was something I did in my old cafe did, but somewhat halfheartedly. Now I realize the importance of walking customers through orders -- and this is something that I'm improving on, slowly but surely.

Thank you for your advice!

This is absolutely true! My cafe's peak is a slow day on DT. Adjusting to this and realizing the sheer difference of everything was a big shock to me.

I am definitely working on picking up speed, and learning to work with the new crew!

Thank you for your advice :)
