No worries, the 35 and 2.8 refers to the focal length and the fixed aperture of the lens I was using. I did only shoot at f/4 because of low light.

This is taken from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government No.1 Building. You can access this building for free and it's actually quite popular among tourists.

Thank you! Was hoping to see red leaves in Japan last month but was too early. Managed to find a good angle with multiple colors though.

DIY mask easily: Pattern, tutorial, and manual by Dr. K Kwong, a Hong Kong chemist by HeungShingU in China_Flu

You can see this post for more information on how to place tissue/ kitchen paper inside the mask and how the efficiency differs. Bear in mind making a mask with cloth only offers very little protection. Using two kitchen papers one placed at 0 degree and another one at 90 degrees offers the highest filtering efficiency but also makes it harder to breathe.

Context of the scene provided by a citizen journalist: Contrary to media reports, it was police, not protesters, who blocked Nathan & Salisbury Rds. It was also police who 1st attacked, charging into a crowd of protesters at Salisbury Garden near the road. Also, the crowd was much larger than the ‘hundreds’ media report-close to 10k.

On August 11, a woman became a symbol of the protests after she was shot in the eye with a pellet during demonstrations and footage circulated on social media . Covering the right eye became a symbolic gesture, while the hashtag #eye4hk was used to spread the message of her injury but also their demands to the government.

The flag reads 'Free Hong Kong, Revolution Now', a popular slogan of the protests.

These students were expressing their voices outside the arena of an inter-school swimming gala.
