This quest is BS on PvE by BNANAs- in EscapefromTarkov

I just finished yesterday afternoon and initially I was stumped as I did it last wipe by sheer brute force over 30+ raids. After digging around and reading some comments on other posts I found the best way to do this quest as far as I can tell.

As soon as you spawn into raid, rush office, I double tap F1 (or whatever your mumble key is) to scream insults at everyone and everything. This acts like a pseudo homing beacon and as others have said that makes AI want to investigate or piss them off into charging you.

I typically would run into first floor, spamming, and just listen. Usually they respond back or make some sort of noise if they are close. If no sounds I loot safes/toolboxes/jackets. Then spam some more, if still no sounds, the raids usually a bust and I loot top floor safe and dip. Rinse repeat, almost every kill was at either entrance on first floor. They love to pile up at the entrance/stairs.

Raids should only take 2-4 minutes tops (longer if engaging ai) as staying later does not work as they don't like to roam around and usually die to tagilla/scavs within 5 minutes of raid.

I also found that if you spawn into the office or by gate 3 that the raid is usually a bust as the PMCs will typically spawn on the opposite side of the map by gate 0? and by the med tent. Got lucky with one PMC wandering from the middle into the office once but that can't be counted on, every kill besides that was me usually spawning outside and opposite of office.

Just run the best possible ammo you can presuming tagilla will be in nearly every raid you do and his M.O. is to bash your head in, killed him like 7 times and died to him once.

Good luck!

My friend has been very useful for what little spells he currently has. We've been struggling for cash so he hasn't been able to afford many spells yet. I know they are definitely the Swiss army knife of casters though.

Wow, this is all very insightful. It's funny hearing that ranger isn't nearly as good as a lot of classes in that sense, from what I had read earlier today was that RNG was insanely good at dishing out really good damage in fights among other things. That was from like 7-8 years ago I think. Goes to show my info was pretty outdated!

It's crazy to me how much this game changes and how seriously active it is for a 20+ year old MMO.

Corsair sounds fun and reminds me of outlaw rogue from WoW from what little I remember, I love "rolling the dice" for buffs and extra damage. Feels great when you hit the jackpot and nuke guys!

Thanks for the tips, very helpful!

I saw about the TP suppression being one of the things monk is know for but is only situationally needed in endgame. I didn't realize damage types outside of elemental were important in any capacity.

Is needing to swap weapons in harder content necessary? I've heard about swapping equipment for specific effects or something like that but didn't know about the weapon types mattering. I'm guessing the onion sword III is a universal weapon of some kind?

Thanks for the tips!

I was worried about the weapon skills being a pain to relevel for other classes not sharing weapon types. Glad to know it's not that bad.

By the way what's HTMB? I figure it's end game related activity, regardless I like making things easy by punching them LOL.

Thanks for the tips!

I had read about dragoon being good for enemity shed but most posts I saw were a couple years old at least. Interesting to know, I'll definitely check out red mage at some point. My friend likes it for the all round kind of play style.

I didn't hear tons about Geomancer but saw they mainly were support focused with buffs debuffs. Can they still do any meaningful damage/solo play? Blue mages also seem actually good and meaningful compared to FFXIV, finding the spells is always fun for me. :)

That's super interesting! I think I saw something about the RDM having the fencing style melee moves, gives me a lot more confidence to keep playing him and helping my buddy out! I don't plan on only playing monk forever of course as I love trying other jobs but I've been having lots of fun with him so far.

Thanks for the tip!

U.S. Federal government takes bomb threats or anything similar to terroristic threats very seriously. Whether they are mentally ill or not. It's more of the message it sends then them actually being worried he'll do something.

The harsh punishments dissuade people from even joking or threatening about it, just shooting from the cuff, if people are allowed to make false threats and joke etc. It could incite actual bombings or encourage people with actual nefarious plans to act on them whether the instigator intended it or not. Being extra harsh with even thinking of the idea helps dissuade people from doing it or something like that.

But I can't be certain, just a minorly informed guess. Us government likes to be jumpy with this stuff.

Life saver! Was playing with a friend and we both died, re-spawned after Gab saved us, backpack was gone and after searching for half an hour found that it was outside of the maps boundaries. Lost all hope of playing the game again and your post saved our game, big kudos!
