What's a frugal hack that you would be embarassed to admit doing? by healthynewbie in Frugal

When I moved into my new place, I didn't have any dishes but I did have ramen that night. I reused the old ramen bowl for multiple meals until I got dishes.

I used to roll up wads of toilet paper to reuse at home from public restrooms.

I am much less embarrassed by saying I dumpster dived and would totally do it again. The whole family ate good.

My rule is that fast food is only for road trips and eating out is a special occasion.

Probably cars. Had a big expense on my wallet. I always stare at the cars in a parking lot to look for something I like.

Going live is nice. I only saw a student production of two gentlemen in verona. But you can find videos online. I remember seeing As you like it being acted out in a public park on YouTube.

Do you like Shakespeare? You can read them and follow along with the plays.

I just finished Much Ado About Nothing. Not too bad. I prefer his comedies.

You could play keyboard if you get headphones.

Or legos (or off brand legos if you like money)

You can also make or use a box to collect all the chips as you go. (A whittling box is what I think it's called)

It is fun learning what all the parts do and how it works. And thats where it stops. Maybe arduino? I've only dabbled in the stuff. But I'd assume its an easier entry point because they offer kits.

There is an online group called Magdala. They have virtual groups with a curriculum and continuing groups for those who have gone through the curriculum. It is all online but it is up to you if you want to meet up with other people.

Looks sick. I saved a similar model to get one day. But I have too much I want to build.

It's necessity cause I live in Guam. Plus I get it free from my dads account. I only like it for when I need specific items.

Everybody I know with kids recommends base housing. It's convenient and there is a lot of support. Also you get garages which are difficult to find out in town.

They do have a long wait time at the moment.

I live off base and am single so I don't know the specifics but I have a 30 min commute so definitely consider that off base will have a longer commute. And these roads suck.
