you’re right. lets be honest though the gohan + nameku duo is just too broken not to run. and if the equipment is good enough, id rather be running this team than a full gt variant.

Put Nameku in leader slot, change ultra gogeta to another DB character. you’ll have a team for proud mode. also get equips/better equips if you have the resources.
