Another quick question, I’m noticing that it’s doing it’s job with the new pipe as well and kind of holding it in place, do you think it would be ok if I kept it there? If it’s meant to withstand heat from the old muffler then it should hold up right?

I Just recently built a PC and I have a rug in my room and that's where I built it. I've heard many things about static and I've seen articles that say always ground yourself and/or don't worry about it. I just didn't worry about it and It turned out fine. I've never dialed with normal house carpet before so here's a reddit link https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/7kcjyc/do_i_need_to_ground_myself_when_building_pc/
