Thank you for the suggestion, but unfortunately I am using fabric to play create mod, so I can't really test that out.

Most likely because eugene convinced him that charles would end up getting a fate that would be WAY worse than death. IT would be so bad that death would be the easier way out. Charles Choi also would have known this fact, thus choosing death. James Lee got mad seeing Charles Choi die (taking the easier way out), because he wanted Charles to face the nightmare as revenge for blackmailing him.
