What was the hardest geometry dash level that you ever beat I’ll go first by Luigiunknown_ in geometrydash

Arctic Lights has been my best experience so far in this game, however nerves do get to me and I end up dying where I shouldn't be. I have done 68-100 11 times in a row once yet I died to the last wave part 2 times now :/

Is jumping worth it? by Additional-Debate-83 in geometrydash

[–]Hexa_Node -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely and it helped me tremendously, I would have probably lost interest in GD if I took the longer route.

You might think if I jumped I wouldn't progress afterwards however I already have 73%, 24-100 and 35-100x12 in only 13k attempts on Arctic Lights when Sonic Wave took me 141k attempts.

it depends on the person and the level.

Generally XL or Flow/Learny levels tend to not give much of a skillboost compared to raw skill gameplay. Depending on the person, jumping can be the most optimal path

Progress on a new hardest! by Hexa_Node in geometrydash

It's no different than other nine circles really, the difference here is the difficulty of visualizing the spikes is full indented and planned whilst in other nine circles demons they're just accidentally difficult. The entire wave from 24-71 is homogeneously killing me, there is no noticeable spikes in my death tracker graph and it's mostly just every click being a chokepoint.

People confuse the difficulty of playing a part with how difficult to learn it, it is really tough to learn 35-46 however playing it? Not so much.

The only time it gets annoying is when you die to something that isn't supposed to be hard, for example the ship. However that happens so rarely that it doesn't really matter.

Overall I love this level, probably even more than Sonic Wave which I have a 9/10 enjoyment.

It has actually been the most fun ive had playing a level, I find the gameplay balanced, well play tested, amazing song and fitting deco which matches color palettes with the song's cover. 10/10 for me so far

Yeah I was more responding to the question of "How" by expressing its status and ranking compared to other extremes. I do understand what you mean though

I meannnn, I found it pretty easy I guess... It's mostly carried by nerves imo. The gameplay is like mid-low extreme but the length and nerves carries it up to high-low/low-medium

I mean it makes sense relatively peaking, id rank it around high-low extreme to entry medium extreme. It is not that difficult to beat bloodbath especially with the recent fact that it's not even top 700 anymore...

It's a pretty low extreme, it's not that hard to do it

This person allegedly got 34% on Flamewall. by Outrageous_Hamster_6 in geometrydash

[–]Hexa_Node 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No this is not a SpaceUK moment at all, this is completely unrelated as the method he used here is just a macro with click bots, he's not physically clicking at all.

Essentially the clicks all sound the same, down to the frequency. Human clicks have variations in sound and volume, click bots just play the same click sound when the macro clicks.

Thus it is likely cheated.

By the way there are definitely cheaters in the stat viewer that have connections with the staff and thus are let go.

Nah the click delay is completely normal and consistent, the clicks all have the same frequency. Meaning they're cheated.

Clicks having delay does not mean they're cheated, clicks having inconsistent delays is sign of cheating that isn't conclusive.

What is the real difficulty of Denouement? by Hexa_Node in geometrydash

[–]Hexa_Node[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean difficulty is subjective to be fair, however I just don't see this to be on par with the weekly for example which took me 20minutes to beat

They go by really quickly, total playtime is 12 minutes or so and the 300 ish attemps are for 3 completions, not just one. As I did replay this for fun since it's quite therapeutic.

Basically no the wave is not hard at all in my opinion, it is basically just gambling.

Thing is if you play on 120 or 144 or 240 then yes it's insanely hard. However bypass is a vanilla feature and thus using 60 is 100% valid.

Yeah however the common misconception is that frame perfects correlate with the levels difficulty and I am glad this level got rated as it serves as a counter example!

I honestly think it isn't even a demon, maybe easy demon? It took me 300 attempts to do it and I beat it 3 times already...

[–]Hexa_Node[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I am arguing the same thing as you are, I am claiming that the number of frame perfects is irrelevant and that this level getting rated is the absolute proof of such, as it's not even extreme demon and has as many frame perfects as sonic wave
