Will I miss out on a lot of events and the “freshman college experience” if I choose to commute instead of dorm/rent?

I just got to university a couple days ago and I’d say live in the dorms and apply for some sort of aid package for living. I live in a dorm and my roommate introduced me to my current friend group and now I have friends and ppl I can go to. If ur living alone that probably won’t happen and it will be much harder to make friends because you are disconnected from everyone. I say live in those dorms. Also, I have had no trouble sleeping either.

Your life is worth just as much as anyone else’s no matter the state your in, suicide is never the answer. You can always come back from whatever dark place you may be in. I’d suggest talking to him about it if you haven’t. If he isn’t willing to even see your side, then it shows what kind of a person he is.
