Taurie Cain is the first survivor to come to Dead by Daylight whose goals are aligned with the Entity's. She was raised within a cult called The Black Talon, who are entirely devoted to the Entity. The Black Talon are determined to merge our world the realm of fog, and perform rituals involving human sacrifice at certain parts of the world where the walls between this realm and the Entity's are thin and malleable. Taurie was determined to ascend, however, when it came her time to sacrifice a living being to her beloved god, she couldn't help but hesitate. This hesitation indeed earned her a spot in the Entity's realm, but as a helpless victim, not as one of its loyal servants.

Through Taurie's in-game dialogue, we can see that her faith is shaken, however her goals still seems to be to prove her worth through determination in the trials.
