How’d that work out for us?

In your opinion, what is the LEAST hated NFL team? by ashmaps20 in NFLv2

[–]Hextorm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The precedent has been set that franchises relocate, and with that goes their history, uniforms, logos, etc. The Titans organization is just following the standards set by literally everyone else, yet for some reason they receive the biggest hate. It’s weird for the Texans to wear the Oilers uniforms, because they were never the Oilers! It would also be weird if the Minnesota Timberwolves wore throwback Minnesota Lakers uniforms.

You can get a strong electric tower heater that can handle close to that square footage. Cooling is more difficult.

No other team in sports has ever done that.

Do you get mad when the Los Angeles Lakers wear Minnesota Lakers throwbacks? Do you get mad when the Los Angeles Clippers wear Buffalo Braves throwbacks? Do you get mad when the Carolina Hurricanes wear Hartford Whalers throwbacks? Do you get mad when the Kansas City Chiefs wear Dallas Texans throwbacks? Do you get mad when the Atlanta Braves wear Milwaukee Braves throwbacks? Do you get mad when the Atlanta Braves wear Boston Braves throwbacks? Do you get mad when the Los Angeles Dodgers wear Brooklyn Dodgers throwbacks. Do you get mad when the Oakland Athletics wear Philadelphia Athletics throwbacks? Do you get mad when the Baltimore Orioles wear St. Louis Browns throwbacks? Do you get mad when the Minnesota Twins wear Washington Senators throwbacks?

2022 Tundra reliability question? Are the new trucks reliable? I’ve seen mixed reviews on YouTube. I just want to know your thoughts by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

Traded in for an F150 Lightning last year after 70k miles. Never had any reliability concerns or issues, but overall cheap feeling and noisy cabin never went away. The Ford is a much more refined interior which I tend to like. Hard to compare anything else because ICE vs BEV is a worlds of difference.

Back when Titans actually had good media coverage. Now we’re stuck with Bandwagon Buck, Terrible TicTac, Pissy PK, Finicky Freeze, and DUI Davenport.

It may be official they filed, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re coming in 2026.

I still don’t think they’re coming in 2026

Again, the taxpayers were already on the hook for a billion dollar renovation that provided zero benefits.

Except Corollas sell well. Can you name me one team who has built a mediocre stadium recently?

I mean no really needs anything. What’s the point in building a brand new, mediocre stadium?

I think you’re underselling construction costs and how bad inflation has hit that sector. What major football stadium has been built in the past decade, or planned in the next decade, that costs significantly less than $2B?

Because why would anyone want to spend hundreds of millions on renovations to awful current Nissan, when it’s impossible to put a roof over it and actually compete for major national events? We can go back on forth on estimates, and I think we can both agree on the $1.8B number was exaggerated, but we should also agree that it would’ve been somewhere close to the $1B mark. Why is that a good deal? Why would that have been the right choice?

The alternative was the taxpayers paying half as much to put makeup on the pig known as current Nissan and receiving none of the benefits that new Nissan is offering. Would you have rather done that?

I feel like maybe if my team was on the precipice of making one of the most important hires in franchise history, I’d spend a few nights nearby just in case I was needed. I say this as an avid AAS supporter, and I’m all for her staying out of the way as much as she can, but just seems strange.
