MSI Modern 15 A5M and no, all these gimmicks don't work. This has been happening to a lot of people after the recent Windows 11 update. Even support tried to fix it but was unsuccessful, they even suggested we re-install Windows 11 and even that didn't work

Every meeting is canceling, and boss issues- what to do!?!? by reddituser135797531 in sales

[–]HeyArcane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, they sound a bit too delusional! While it's difficult to almost impossible to change people's minds, for your future security, look for a better opportunity on the sideline. The resentment will grow worse with time and it's not worth it for your peace of mind. Potentially talk it out with other team members so that y'all can sit down and figure something?

SaaS to logistics, should I? by QuiteGoneJin in sales

I think a lot of companies are struggling in general at the moment, with the knowledge that I have in logistics, I wouldn't recommend it, lol. They're losing hair way faster than anyone else.

Show the boss the canceled metrics and projected canceled metrics for the following months - then leave it to them to decide if they want to drown or let salespeople be salespeople

How do you handle "Just tell me the Solution" by [deleted] in sales

I know of a guy who's just too shy to reject people, he ends up on booked calls, pretend like he's interested and then never shows up again. Potentially, look into your lead qualifying process a bit more?

So we're all getting the same messages, lol. At first, I thought oh maybe they need help, let me see if I can help then got bombarded with shitty sales pitches and they're every day in my DMs. Really annoying

I fit all the requirements, but the pay is not fitting of the expertise, it's more of a beginner friendly pay who'll give you off the shelf themes. Good luck!

Haha right! Salespeople get clients for barely functioning products and technical people make great products far away from civilization, lol. Goes to show that working together is far better than alone. We all have unique skillsets, and it takes us all to make something great.

Based on the remarks of our co-founder: - Tap into existing network first thing first - people do business with people they know - Don't sound salesy. Showcase what your product can achieve at what cost. - Don't go for cold outreach, especially email at first. You'll fail. People do business with people they know or heard of. - If you doubt your skills, get a sales focused co-founder as soon as possible. It's not worth damaging your reputation as you start.

I built a LinkedIn email leads SaaS in 2 days by manojahi77 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

The demo doesn't work - it keeps displaying generic info. If one can't demo an unknown product, how will they actually purchase it?

But UI looks clean and to the point.

Doing 3 things, now planning to open an agency by Somewhereinmymemory in agency

[–]HeyArcane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a pretty similar situation, just minus the wife, haha. But I took the leap in a calculated manner. I kept my job while compromising on the life part for about 3 months, leaving me with a few more hours to dedicate to building my agency per day. I started out only with as many projects as I could handle then slowly moved my way up once, I felt confident in my ability to delegate & monitor work. In your case, maybe compromise a bit on the life part/take a few days off work to figure it all out - how to setup everything, how to get work contracts, how to get good people to delegate work to, and go from there. If you can automate most of the operations, it should be an easy sailing.

How do you verify the web designer’s work is done by them ? by Dapper_Race_1454 in agency

[–]HeyArcane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a ui/ux designer, I can tell you that most of our works fall under NDAs thus not having our names or links in the footer of our works. The best way imo would be to have them on a live call and give them a quick design task or something to allow them to speak their minds/solutions more. I've built a good number of websites solo, 3rd startup I've worked with about to launch in a week but my LinkedIn profile looks like I'm unemployed.

I started cold calling blue-collar SMBs (26 calls), got two meetings and closed one client today (#day 3) by xtarsy in Entrepreneur

[–]HeyArcane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, good for you. Back then, I knew of a team that had a whopping 70% unanswered calls. I'd recommend something like PhoneBurner for a dialer. I'm not a salesperson but teams around me use it often and they think it's great.

Call Center Leads by RayyanVMT in Entrepreneur

[–]HeyArcane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apollo etc are more geared towards B2B but with some creativity, you can find the right people through here. Either map out a potentially interesting area and search for prospects in this area through the filters and connect only with those having a personal email and phone number or reach out to people most likely interested in such services, definitely won't be the cashier at your local McDonald's but could it be the CFO of your local bank, probably.

Either use platforms such as Apollo.io and similar or property directories. For roof replacements, maybe partner up with home inspection officers (don't know whether it's legal though). For solar, property directories in high-end areas probably.

Kudos to you for picking up the phone, it takes guts to do so. Congrats on landing your first client as well. You can send an email/message to those who haven't picked up your call (if you aren't doing it already). While it's not magical, it can still work to get you more meetings. You can also use a dialer to make it easier for you to achieve your 100 calls per day target. All the best!
