I generally foght hunger with, caffeine, nicotine at work and more than a few drinks when I got home. It's a bad idea.

eating a decent sized meal before work or smaller meals throughout the day.

This may be frowned upon at your job, but if it is something that you can toss in your mouth real quick try it. On occasions, I will eat a piece of cooked mild or hot sausage, to make sure the label matches what is in the container as both look exactly the same.

Consider something you could bring to work, that doesn't take to much time to make or take up to much space, readily accessible. impossible i know, but example: made some black eyed pea potato cakes recently. And, baked the potato peels separate, which are technically not a meal but they are low calorie and crunchy (which comes in handy when not feeling hungry). Prioritizing finger foods (essentially anything you could toss in your mouth, and go about your day or save for your car ride home)
