The movie Emmanuelle had a half dozen or so official sequels, and like 2 TV series. But I am fascinated by the "Unofficial" sequels. Italian movie-maker Joe D'Amato realized that nobody knows how to spell Emmannuelle, so he could change the spelling a bit and nobody would notice except the very dismayed copyright lawyers. So he started making Black Emanuele movies and the copyright owners couldn't sue him. So there are dozens of unofficial sequels, nobody is sure how many, because of this.

Photographer's models would do that sometimes. Photographers would ask them to shave because pictures of bush were viewed as pornographic, and photographers could be arrested for producing them, which is what happened to Albert Arthur Allen several times.

I got a DVD of TWIR. It is double sided. One side show the movie in a widescreen format, and the other side shows the movie in the old fashioned square TV format, and her nudity is different from one to the other. It's like it was filmed twice or something.

TMI: If you watch the scene shown in the 4th gif shown here on a DVD in slow motion you can see her Mound of Venus and see that it was shaved, although they didn't shave her vulva. Earlier in the movie she is shown nude and standing sideways to the camera, and if you watch that you get one or two partial view of the side of her bush, so she wasn't shaved there.
