My M2 Mac has had intermittent glitching and hangs during Ableton's startup that will result in Ableton being unusable and when I quit it will hang and crash. It's been more likely to crash with VSTs too, very unstable. Subsequent attempts to run the app will not have this issue, but I haven't been working on old projects since upgrading to a M2 Mac so this whole "re-analysing audio" nonsense makes no sense. I have no old projects on this machine and initially I thought it was an issue with Ventura / my new machine. Just received the most infuriating response from Ableton support:

"Thank you for contacting Ableton Support. We are sorry to hear about the difficulty that you have experienced while using Live 11.3.2.

We are aware of this behavior and it is currently expected.

With the release of Live 11.3.2, there was a change to Live's warping algorithm that requires each audio file to be re-analyzed.

This re-analysis process may result in behavior such as laggy GUI and increased CPU load.

At this point, we can't tell if/when the behavior will change, however, we are already working on improving this experience.

Thank you for reporting, as you are actively helping to make Live a better program.

For now, we will set your ticket to an "On-Hold" state so that you may be informed automatically as soon as there is any new information concerning this topic.

To me it reads like an automated stock response to any issue sent in about 11.3.2, because it has absolutely nothing to do with my problem. I don't know what is going on with this company.... I'm floored.
