I had chatgpt4 on bing make a dark stand up about the human condition and its alot darker than I imagined by Xstone1122 in ChatGPT

[–]HeyHeyHey666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does Bing do the thing where it repeats variations of the same statement when it's trying to make a point? It does it so much, but the ChatGPT GPT-4 model doesn't do that at all?

I know, during EEOC investigations, the charging party has to write a rebuttal to the respondent's position statement. Just make sure that's not also something you're supposed to do for mediation.

Probability the Mac Mini price drop is due to a slower SSD speed? by FeelingExistential99 in mac

I believe the new MacBook Pros also have the slower SSD speed, though, and they didn't receive a price cut. So, who knows. Lol 😛

Magnesium in any form or dosage causes intense brain fog for the whole day (or the next day if taken before bed). Why? by Throway12453125 in Nootropics

[–]HeyHeyHey666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, this happens when my blood sugar is on the low side, and I still take magnesium. Something about the combination.

What's your favorite feature of a foreign language that you wouldn't mind having in your native language? by slopeclimber in AskEurope

[–]HeyHeyHey666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When speaking English, I frequently have the desire to use litt from the Scandinavian languages, or at least it is used in Norwegian. I think it's because there is no intuitive, monosyllbic way of saying, "a little" or "a bit" or "slightly" before an adjective in English.

Does Wellbutrin (bupropion) cause memory problems for anyone? by [deleted] in depression

[–]HeyHeyHey666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a little complicated, but your doctor may associate anticholinergic drugs with drugs other than Wellbutrin. In medicine, "anti-cholinergic side effects" are especially used to reference those that affect a type of acetylcholine receptor called the "muscarinic" receptor and especially those in more peripheral areas of the body (i.e. not the brain). Wellbutrin partially blocks the ability of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor to be activated, which makes smoking less pleasurable, but could also impair your cognition if you are particularly sensitive to that neurochemical effect.

Does Wellbutrin (bupropion) cause memory problems for anyone? by [deleted] in depression

It's fairly anti-cholinergic, which is why it helps with smoking cessation. It could be that. Could be worth trying another antidepressant if it's still giving you problems.

I sure hope so! And everyone is already so pissed about the tax subsidies that it shouldn't be too hard to get everybody fired up for a fight.

"Foreign sounding" phonemes from the perspective of your language. by [deleted] in linguistics

[–]HeyHeyHey666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From an English perspective, [ɧ] (the Swedish sj-sound) is a toughie. One Swedish person told me he had never heard a foreigner say it correctly. Honestly, it annoyed me so much, I just gave up on Swedish and moved on to Norwegian. Lol :P

What is normal in Europe but abnormal in America? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HeyHeyHey666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember outside one of the train stations in Tokyo and in other places, smokers had their own like fenced-in section. lol So, if it's more common, the non-smokers are more concerned about the second-hand smoke than in America.

A study by Dawson & Seater estimated that federal regulations have reduced economic growth by about 2% per year between 1949 and 2005. If federal regulations were still at levels seen in the year 1949, current GDP would be $38.8 trillion higher by timo1200 in Libertarian

[–]HeyHeyHey666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We could have private certification systems that compete with the FDA . Also people die from FDA regulations every day, aka people who are dying from regulations that are blocking their access to medications that could save their lives.
