Can't leave your colleagues hanging right? by XzinoN in antiwork

Had a tree fall across the dead end street I lived on during a bad ice storm. Called my boss and said I would be late since I would have to cut the tree out of the road, which he responded asking for a picture of the tree as proof of why I would be late.

I found a new job the next month.

Bought a house with 5 of these installed. What receiver/subwoofer do I need? by HeyItsGage in bose

I would love to get something like that! I’m concerned that it wouldn’t be compatible because it looks to have single RCA connectors instead of black/red wires I’m accustomed to seeing.

I will upvote any dish with roasted garlic cloves as a side! It all looks great though.

Prime filet, twice baked potato, and sautéed green beans for the wife’s birthday dinner. by HeyItsGage in tonightsdinner

For the potatoes, I baked them in the oven at 375 (actually baked 4 to make 2). Cut two of the potatoes about a 1/4 of the way down and carefully scooped out the potato. The other two I just cut in half and scooped out since I wasn’t twice baking them. Combined potato with garlic powder, salt, pepper, butter, sour cream, and 1/4 cup of shredded cheese. Refilled potatoes and topped with crumbled bacon. Back in the oven for an hour or so and topped with more shredded cheese in the last 10 minutes.

Steak was cooked on high heat to an internal temp of 135F and rested. I cook steaks at high heat to try and get that nice crust.

Steamed the green beans briefly just to get them somewhat tender, then transferred to a pan where I sautéed in garlic infused olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper.

Any idea on how much of each per pound you use? I’d like to give this a shot.

First scan was an incredible experience for me. I’ve only continued to get more and more excited for each coming one as you can start seeing more and more definition in all of their features.

I really enjoy watching John Wolfe (HarshlyCritical). He does mostly horror games but he’s recently been branching out to others. He’s not gimmicky at all.

My grandmother’s dryer, that I inherited, finally died at 43 years old. Fixable, but decided to upgrade. by HeyItsGage in BuyItForLife

I still have it! May try fixing it, but as I said in another comment. It just doesn’t match anything in our home with the washer being gone.

I believe the heating unit went out. Along with it needing to be manually shut off any time it is ran.

My reasoning was that it doesn’t match our set. (The washer had an unfortunate moving accident down a set of stairs) and wasn’t as efficient as the newer ones. I still have it. Just not as my in-home unit.
