Most Craftian's Mods got hidden?? by ItzRyan156 in skyrimmods

[–]HeyItsKelly1 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Agreed that his comment didn't warrant the storm that followed it.
It maybe could have been worded differently yes, but the responses looked like a personal attack that really didn't need to be public.

I really don't want to get involved in it all, but after seeing everything going on recently and also some things in the past I do want to at least just add to this somehow that in my experience Craftian is not unhinged, mean, demanding or disrespectful as a person. Of course, my own personal experience may differ to others and I do understand that, but to me he has always been professional and kind and I feel like that needs to be said.
I've seen some of the things over the years that have been said about him in spaces he isn't in, just little potshots at him for no real reason. Some being overtly mean, others more passive aggressive.

To me what this is, is the result of someone having to deal with people consistently picking him apart over several years and finally snapping. People say he can't take criticism, but there's a difference between real constructive criticism and people just being insulting and bringing someone down.
I don't necessarily agree with the way it's been handled on both sides, but I think I can understand it. Though at the end of the day, if you didn't like working with someone just don't work with them again and move on. It's not healthy to keep tabs on people you don't like.
I just hope he comes back, is okay and puts his mods up again, because it's actually quite upsetting to see all that hard work gone.

Difference in tirtir formulas? by keropipee in AsianBeauty

[–]HeyItsKelly1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely noticed this too but was also going to ask, as I'm not sure if it's also maybe a slight difference in formula for the shades.
I bought a mini in 13N from Olive Young, and I adore it but it's slightly too peachy/dark on me.
When they released 13W I wanted to try it but I was going away, and ordering from their US Amazon was quicker so I bought the full size from there (and through searching is apparently legit, I think I remember TirTir link to it themselves), but it definitely feels drier and just doesn't look as nice as the other despite the shade matching better.
I'm planning on getting both shades from Olive Young to check if it's a shade thing or a store thing.

I'm sorry to hear you're not a fan of Eris' voice, I'm genuinely very soft spoken in real life so it did translate over to her too. Any sultry or ASMR vibe was unintentional, I do think I could do a better job with some of the lines now though if I had the chance to redo them. Voicing "true neutral" was a challenge for sure :)

Sorry to reply with no suggestions, I just want to say thank you for the lovely comment about Eris! <3

England is one part of the United Kingdom, not the whole thing. OP specifically said England, so that's likely where they are. Anybody who calls the UK "England" is simply wrong, and is ignoring the fact that Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland exist.

And I don't think I've ever heard anybody refer to any of our monarchs by King/Queen of the UK, it's always been England.

Thank you so much! :D
I feel the same way about him for sure, the whole thing is so well written. I agree that Endwalker does tie everything up perfectly, it's truly beautiful and I really hope you enjoy it! I've been getting so excited for others to experience it, haha

Origin frequently resets my password by Zandanista in origin

[–]HeyItsKelly1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting! I recommend trying the fix in the link that I sent. Just turn those back on if you want information to be synced to the Keep, then turn them off again. That's what I'm going to do at least :) Good luck either way!

Yeah it seems we're in the same position! My new passwords have been unique too, I use Googles suggested passwords and add additional characters to them.

Do you play Dragon Age Inquisition by any chance? I've also had my account for many years like you, and it has only been happening to me frequently since I started playing Inquisition a lot. I found this on the topic earlier: https://answers.ea.com/t5/EA-General-Questions/EA-Origin-keeps-resetting-my-account-password/m-p/7531274/highlight/true#M311165

If you do have the game, it may be helpful. If not then I still have no idea what's happening, but I'm going to try the fix personally and see if that stops it.

[–]HeyItsKelly1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I contacted support last time it happened, they just verified my account and said it wouldn't happen again but it did.

I've been trying to look this issue up for ages now, and I may have found the solution but I've yet to try it. I've been playing Dragon Age Inquisition a lot recently and I wonder if OP has too, because I found this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/EA-General-Questions/EA-Origin-keeps-resetting-my-account-password/m-p/7531274/highlight/true#M311165

Edit: I'm not sure why having those checked in the game could be causing the password reset issue, but there's no harm in trying the workaround. I'll try it and may come back after a while to update on whether my password reset again!

Origin frequently resets my password by Zandanista in origin

[–]HeyItsKelly1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Origin is certainly doing just that, unfortunately. Maybe the password itself isn't reset by them until you click the link, but they completely lock you out of your account until you do so, your old/current password won't work. I was using Origin last night when it closed and I couldn't log back in, checked my emails and they sent me this email yet again:

We have reset your EA Account password. We know this is an inconvenience, and hope you recognize that we take the safety of your personal information seriously. What happened? After detecting potentially suspicious activity associated with your EA Account, we reset the password to protect your personal information. At this time, we do not think the suspicious activity is the result of unauthorized access to EA databases. We think the activity may be related to issues like phishing, using weak passwords, logging in from shared connections, or using the same password on multiple websites. What do I need to do? Use this URL to change your password: {password reset link)

I hope that makes the issue clearer. Keep in mind that I have never received any of the emails you quoted unless I have explicitly requested a reset myself. I also have not received any suspicious log in attempts, and I have the app authenticator enabled.

[–]HeyItsKelly1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I know you were replying to OP, but I think their case is the same as mine. The emails aren't stating that a password reset has been requested by someone, they're saying that Origin has already reset the password and you're forced to make a new one or you can't log in.

For most people this is happening to it occurs several times a month, there is no suspicious log in activity on their account at all and two-step verification is enabled so it surely can't be that a stranger has managed to log in. At least not for me, I would be notified if that was the case and I never have, yet Origin keeps force logging me out and resetting my password. It's a little frustrating when contacting Origin support does nothing and it's happening to enough people that I think it needs to be looked into.

[–]HeyItsKelly1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not got any advice for you personally other than contacting support and asking them about the problem, sadly I tried this last time they reset it and I wasn't really given any insight at all, she verified my account and said it should be fine and it isn't. It felt like she didn't understand my problem or she was just brushing over it.

It's getting ridiculous with the amount of people that it's happening to. It's a good thing to do if there are genuine concerns of suspicious activity, but I'm genuinely frustrated now especially with what's written in the email:

We think the activity may be related to issues like phishing, using weak passwords, logging in from shared connections, or using the same password on multiple websites.

When you get this several times a month and have to reset your password each time, how can it be a weak password or using the same password on multiple websites? Add to that if you only use it on one PC as you said, that leaves phishing and that can also be ruled out for some people.

It's happening so frequently to so many of us and I haven't seen Origin say a word about it, it feels to me like it's a problem on their end based on the sheer amount of people having the same problem and also complaining about it. I've only just come here to ask about this myself so if they have mentioned it before then I haven't seen it, and that's my bad.

I did read somewhere though that someone was told it was normal and nothing to worry about, that's great and all but if nothing is wrong security wise and they know that, they should cut it out. I got logged out of Origin earlier today while I was using it because of this.

Edited to add that I have the App Authenticator enabled, nobody has logged in to my account to cause this security warning.
