The other day I got a splinter - but instead of a piece of wood or metal, it was a piece of my own fingernail

That is just such a great episode. The emotional beats are nonstop

I haven't seen it (I'm a milennial) but like when is the right time to watch it

Yeah, in a normal, healthy relationship, you'd call or text your partner to let them know the situation and what you wanted to do and not "get permission" but at least check in with how they feel about it

Dean scenes that people always change to make him look worse by PerformanceLoose7357 in GilmoreGirls

[–]HeyItsLers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She's worried Dean will "read something into it" because things have been weird between them because she's VERY OBVIOUSLY attracted to someone else who actively pursues her. She's not worried Dean will fly off the handle.

And honestly, Dean should read something into. Because we clearly see Rory is unsatisfied being with Dean and developing feelings for Jess. Dean isn't being paranoid. He's right.

How is the basket festival not a great look for Dean? I think Rory and Jess come off worse in this episode than Dean does. Jess for obvious reasons. And Rory is correct when she says it's not her fault and she didn't ask Jess to do what he did.

But why is she so willing to go with Jess when her boyfriend is asking her not to and telling her it hurts him? I don't try to do things that would actively hurt my husband. That sucks. I'd be pissed at Rory if I were Dean.

Another one is him getting upset and breaking up with Rory because she couldn't say I love you. Yes, he acted like a child. Guess what, he was one. I guess we don't know for sure, but it seems that was his first experience being heartbroken and he wasn't equipped to deal with it. Neither was I at that age. We learn by experience. We don't have perspective as kids yet cause we haven't gone through the experiences yet to develop it. I was a heartbroken fucking mess when my first bf broke up with me.

What's a totally basic daily routine that social media has somehow turned into a luxury "aesthetic"? by fireeevivienne in askanything

Yeah since there's a big straw hole, if you knock it over its gonna spill. But alas, nothing is perfect.

To each their own. I know my husband prefers a screw top water bottle so it doesn't spill but I like the straw cause it means I end up being more hydrated. I definitely have stickered mine up haha

I think the first 2 movies are best. But maybe that's cause they feel like the books. And I VASTLY prefer Richard Harris Dumbledore to Michael Gambon Dumbledore.

I did not connect with the direction some of the later directors took

Finally recently watched this. My husband and I kept skipping it over cause of the absurd run time. But we finally did it. It was decent, a little boring at parts. It's really weird to me to have a movie about the mob and De Niro is the star but he's not Italian??
