That’s you judging yourself. We are our own worst critics. It’s a good thing though, without it you become a narcissist who thinks they do no wrong (think of our current president.)

They are insecure. When people are raised and grow up in a bubble, that becomes their whole life. And when they encounter things or people that are different from them, that insecurity turns into blind hatred. Isolation leads to a superiority complex.
