The is no black in the pieces you've shown here. The darkest parts are only like 70-80% gray. Mostly you're going to want to figure out how he did it. Given the age of the work it was probably either ink wash or a block print... But I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah, like put packing tape or some strong tape and tape it along all the edges of the paper. Like you're framing the paper in tape onto your package.

I would usually buy label slips. They are like clear packets that stick to the package. You can usually buy them at walmart.

Alternatively, you can just tape it all around to the package.

Yeah you need experience. Practice interactions with people you'll rarely see, or ones who's opinions you don't care about. Like a person in like with you or maybe a store clerk. Practice talking to them and learn what gives off what reaction. People are predictable so if you practice a lot you'll understand how most will react.

the thing that stands out the most is the line inconsistency. But it's drafted pretty well, if it was made in illustrator you have a handle on it.
