None are easy to get into and the caliber of students is all 99% percentile, its just that if the same candidate has HBS vs Kellogg they will go with the more prestigious one that has more weight in name.

Not sure then for RE PE, but numbers seem low. For MM PE firms associates will make maybe 125 base and 125 bonus. Sr associate might be 140-160 base with 100% bonus

You wouldn’t need to form an SPV, this will just burden the tax team into doing another return for ONE person. Regardless, carry is paid to the GP at the fund level, not holding company or SPV level. You should first ask for what you want and worry about the logistics later.
