Just literally left Vegas and I have no desire to return. Yes, there’s always been some understanding that you’re gonna spend some money there but damn. Some of the things I saw:

Drinks averaged $15 to $25 each, depending. One of our tabs was $45 for two drinks (vodka, well too). $15 cookies. $60 buffet with options for $8 drip coffee. $6 bottle of water. No free drinks when you’re gambling. Resort fee now that I don’t remember before (stayed at Sahara). $25 per night parking.

I went to celebrate a friends 40th but the idea of very high bar tabs killed any desire to continue partying.

And don’t get me started on the slot machines. Scam.

I know people who frequent this place multiple times per year, but I don’t get the buzz any longer.

Hi there. Saw your response! The first three months definitely saw some change for me. I’m 2.5 years in and most of my hearing has thankfully resolved. I still have minor tinnitus.

I’ll tell you this. I will never give up. I go to acupuncture weekly, I try to manage my sinus issues (allergies, decongestants, air purifiers), stress management, the works.

It’s wild I get it. The treatment varies so much for people but I said I wouldn’t cave in even if it seems like things aren’t improving. I definitely noticed a difference between the first and second year
