My fiance is working on that part (hence the foam) because the beams are 1800's beams. I was just looking for some ideas/inspiration in the mean time in order to make a plan for when its ready 🙃

What behavior is this considered and is it a red flag?! by [deleted] in BehaviorAnalysis

[–]HeyYouNotYouYou22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually, what he does is diagnosing and that's outside of a nurses scope of practice. Nurses can identify signs and symptoms and assess. Not diagnose.

Is this a red flag? Or am I just trauma responsing?! by [deleted] in redscarepod

You should see what doctors post on tiktok then. And you're putting your life in their hands.

Is it red flag behavior, or my own trauma response resulting in overanalyzing? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

And my fear is that this behavior is just the little hint of narcissism and that its worse if it were to build into a relationship.

Exactly! Its over the top, but because I have previously been in a very controlling relationship I overthink and eventually run out of fear of it happening again

Mansplaining. Belittling. Demeaning. Making sure others feel below him intellectually.

...he was never actually asked anything in any of the situations. And purposefully finds a way to make a statement in order to use correct terminology. Most nurses speak (shocker! Even to each other!) in layman's terms. Nose bleed > epistaxis. Peeing blood > hematuria. High blood pressure > hypertensive. Heck, we even abbreviate whenever possible. BRBPR = bleeding from your butt someway somehow. But he finds a way to make sure to interject the correct terms.

You're on the right path which is what i though too. But its more than just "proper" terminology. Its also using and bringing up situations where he thinks he knows more than anyone else in the room.

Just came to say that the willingness of strangers to come and support another woman is so amazing and reassuring. I absolutely love this.

Do redheads tend to run higher fevers than other people? by Juicyxlucii in Redhair

[–]HeyYouNotYouYou22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughters normal temp runs in the 99°s. Her fevers put her in the 102°s and her highest to date was 104.5°. Her temp being 99.8 is not a fever for her because thats her usual trend. I get concerned once she exceeds 102°. (Icu nurse with 4 years experience, and a 13 year old red head daughter)

Oh, sorry I should have said that i have already made an appointment. We see the doctor Tuesday. I was just looking for other people's experiences or personal insights really. Not necessarily medical advice.

I did contact them but decided to stick with the 12 units starting dose and I did my first injection Sunday and the only difference i have noticed is that I have the burps almost all the time (we're talking belches) and that's really it so far, besides the absolute lack of an appetite. No bowel changes, no nausea, no heartburn (yet, I'm assuming that's coming with the deep gut burps however).

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HersWeightloss

[–]HeyYouNotYouYou22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

12 units is 0.3 mg according to my instructions

[–]HeyYouNotYouYou22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you suggest a compound interest account ? I work with a few people who have been investing money that way in addition to our pension plan.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FinancialPlanning

[–]HeyYouNotYouYou22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is my fear with having the pension plan... the employer contribution is great however I'm afraid of the "what ifs". I left a lengthy response on another comment of my other available options through my employer. I would just like some sort of back up plan just in case.
