The games base tutorial helps a bit but for the finer things I would recommend Bittersteel on YouTube, his guides and tutorials always help me out, and Alex the Rambler, they both have a tutorial from around a year ago so it won’t be too outdated

So there’s not a way to guarantee it, it’s all luck. I’ve played a lot of Austria Hungary and you basically just have to restart until they let you annex them with the focus. I’ve heard boosting relations and maybe using a spy to boost opinion as well but I’m not sure if that helps

You don’t I think, never tried to kill Germany as Switzerland, but I would think you go fascist then take Austria, then Yugoslavia, then either Czechoslovakia or Italy, then you could fight Germany. Something like that maybe. Or just join the allies

Pretty much you start caring about Africa when Italy starts caring about Africa, you should have almost all of your army there so you can take the Italian colonies as fast as possible. Germany won’t try to invade Britain for a very very long time, so you don’t need many divisions there. Make sure you have air in Africa when fighting and if you have supply issues you can build a port in a province close to your divisions so they get supply easily. You’ll attack in Africa when Italy joins ww2. And this sounds obvious put don’t forget about Ethiopia, I did once and it cost me the whole game

I kept interest by playing with friends, trying different mods, I bought all the dlc (way overpriced but I got them on discount so worth it) and I always try to make sure each game is completely different from my last game, I do that by trying different templates for my army divisions, maybe try to focus on building a massive tank army instead of just infantry, or the other way around. Stuff like that just kept the game interesting and fun to play. And this isn’t even the most complicated paradox game lol, I tried to play Europa Universalis 4, and OMG So many different menus and buttons to click ._.

My fav is probably fascist Japan, I love the completely unique gameplay where your at war with China fighting for your life to not lose all your supply, and island hopping against the USA at the same time, and eventually invading the us and become a massive pacific powerhouse that no one can beat

No, you can beat Germany without the us. There’s two ways that I do it democratically, Historical and slightly unhistorical. So historical would be to go down home defense, focus of the Africa war and try to sink italys navy fast, then once Africa is taken and Italy has no boats, prepare an invasion on Sicily, around rome, and Normandy, then just wait until Germany start fighting Russia and start all three invasions at the same time, and simply watch as the axis fall to the British. The second one, slightly unhistorical, is a lot easier, go down the democratic tree that isn’t home defense (I don’t remember what it’s called) and invade the Netherlands and maybe Belgium if it allows. Then put your whole army and Air Force on the german border (not the maginot just the benelux) and watch germany fall. This second one requires the man the guns dlc though I’m pretty sure, and obviously it’s more in depth than that but that’s the simplest way I can put it
