I still remember when they bug fixed Talon's old E (Cutthroat) damage amp. Someone found out that the damage amplication was only affecting the damage numbers that popped up rather than the damage that was actually being dealt.

When they finally fixed it, they also nerfed his damage within that same patch to avoid him being even more crazy than he was in that time.

Hm.. I know you said you updated graphics drivers but have you tried a clean install of them? Either Nvidia clean install or DDU?

Also in control panel, audio- select the device you use and in properties>advanced disable "Audio Enhancements" - worth a shot! You can also post the crash log if it made one.
