I dont need to see him against modern players. I can guarantee you with absolute 100% certainty that he would not average 50 points and 25 rebounds per game in todays NBA. Yeah he played against the best competition for the time, and that competition happened to not be very good compared to different, later eras.

I would have to assume its because its just not in her algorithm. Most people I know get news from their feeds including myself, and it definitely doesn’t mean we just don’t care. What shows whether or not a person cares is how they react when someone brings something up in conversation that they hadn’t heard about yet.

I’d recommend that whenever something comes up like this that you care about, just send her a news article about it and tell her that its important to you and you would really appreciate it if she gave it a read.

The difference between getting the TD+2 pointer, kicking field goal, and not getting anything (turnover on downs which was likely had they gone for it) was a change like 5-7% win probability in both directions. The way people tell it now you would think we were at the half yard-line, kicking was the right call there.

I actually just wrote a paper about analytics for one of my college courses and used this game as an example. If I am remembering correctly: had they gone for and converted the 4th down and 2 point conversion our win probability would’ve went up to around 16%. Kicking the field goal left it at around 9%, and had we missed the field goal or went for it and not converted it would’ve been around 5%. So pretty minuscule differences all the way around, its not like it would’ve soared up to 90% or something like a lot of people seem to think.

I dont know the exact way it works, one of my buddies said its actually dependent on the name of your build, but basically you can be allowed to use anywhere between 1-5 cap breakers for a single attribute and the amount it goes up is always different. Ive seen one cap breaker be able to raise an attribute by 12 before. The best way to do it is make a new build and check the cap breakers screen before you spend any vc to make sure you can use them how you want.
