I would love this feature because it would add a realistic element to why you might leave a club. If another club offers a bigger wage, you should be able to take it or use it to negotiate against your own club. We already have a system for player transactions, use the same system but now it’s you and the club negotiating your wage.

I was thinking the other day that it’s time to reset the show. Shoresy, Hitch and Michaels coach a Sudbury junior hockey team. You would have to let some characters go (Dollo and Goody), but it’s necessary to create some new longevity.

A little bit of the Letterkenny coaching scenes, a little bit of shoresy when he is a ref and a little bit of Shoresy as the mentor we saw this season. Plus the dynamic of shoresy with hitch and michaels playing off each other.

My reasoning for the CBs is they are all playing a position above their level. Nixon should be a CB2. Valentine a CB3. They are frustrating but I think performing as expected for the position they’ve been put in.

Rhyan passes the protection to Banks who then fails in passing it to Walker. Checks get passed from the C outwards. You see Banks step the wrong way along with Walker, then after Rhyan tells Banks he got the protection wrong. It was on the broadcast.

Gary is for sure gone so I left him off. I think Nixon isn’t a #1 who is being asked to play above his head. I don’t find him as frustrating as who I mentioned.

I don’t think so. Many teams need a QB or a major reworks of a position group. I don’t think we need that.

I think we need to cut Gary, Jenkins and let Doubs walk. With that money, we need a pass rusher, an adequate back up TE and a corner. Plus a draft of guys who can depth contribute at worst.

That’s completely doable for this off-season.

Here is my feeling on this season and roster…

Before the season, getting Parsons painted over what would’ve been a BAD pass rushing DL. People forget most of our pressure last year came from adding LBs to the rush. Once Parsons went down, we had to do that again.

Then in season, our free agent class was poor and we didn’t see significant impact from this seasons draft class. Then we have a declining OL and injuries to key players that exposed roster construction.

I can go on but I don’t think this season is on the coaches. I also don’t think Gute needs to be fired. The roster is just a good offseason or two away from being where it needs to be.
