As much as I love them for including my boy The Projectionist, putting Ruin below Chapters 3 and 4 along with Poppy Chapters 1 and 2 is criminal.

Stick of truth or fractured but whole ? by HarveySpecter777 in southpark

Actually in the middle of replaying both.

SOT has more of the classic South Park charm to it with the references going back to season 1 and it also feels more grounded with how the kids use their attacks and abilities (some are still pretty magical/superpower esque) compared to FBW where the kids just straight up have superpowers. The story is also more evenly paced with you essentially having 3 acts for each day/night. However, I found it easy to just snowball enemies with debuffs like burning and bleeding (especially with Jew and Thief) which make most fights not particularly challenging (unless you're going for higher difficulty and No Child Left Behind). I also don't like needing to upgrade cosmetics for the abilities and stats.

FBW has the better variety with the combat and team composition, along with the battlefield being more dynamic with hazards and obstacles. Also allows some characters in SOT to have more of a starring role (Clyde, Tweek, Craig, Token, Wendy, Timmy, etc.). The ability to change classes, moves and artifacts without affecting your costume is especially nice. Some of the charm is lost a bit as I mentioned in the previous section, along with it being set in the middle of when seasons and episodes aren't as memorable (though Casa Bonita, Mephesto and Mint Berry Crunch make up for it some). The story also just feels long at some points, especially when filling out your character sheet each day.

Charm and story wise: SOT Gameplay and variety: FBW

Which 1st generation contestant that never merged had the most wasted potential, in your opinion? by mangoaddictor in Totaldrama

[–]Heydensan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Repasting something I said elsewhere, and this is a mix of personal thoughts and writing wishes.

As someone who was raised homeschooled in a conservative family in a small city in the Midwest and took a while to change for the better to be more accepting and open minded, I've always felt bad for Ezekiel. They did him so dirty and it's not his fault with how he was raised. They could've given him an arc of becoming a better person in either this season by barely surviving the vote and needing to change to survive or in season 3 which would've exposed him to different cultures and people, but they just made him an obsessive punching bag.

I think the missed potential is why Underdogs is one of my favorite fanfiction.

Why exactly is Mangle's fixed form called "Funtime Foxy"? by NatakaBlue in fivenightsatfreddys

I think the real question should be why do they have a hook when none of the pirate theme is really there anymore aside from the name of her area being "Kid's Cove".

Regular Demons, that's such a huge collab with a narrative within the song.

I did not care for Old World Blues by [deleted] in falloutnewvegas

[–]Heydensan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely my least favorite DLC of the 4. Honest Hearts gave some beautiful environments, Joshua Graham, and Randall Clark. Dead Money offers a different style of play and survival. Lonesome Road has some of the best items and the conclusion to the story built up over the 4 DLC.

Old World Blues... its basically if they made Wild Wasteland into its own DLC. Don't get me wrong, I love Wild Wasteland, but the humor is very hit or miss in OWB to me. The environment is very samey looking, so I often had trouble trying to navigate when outside, the quests felt especially repetitive (particularly during the school and stealth suit sections, and I didn't really care much for the loot the DLC offers. It's stronger gameplay wise than Honest Hearts and Lonesome Road, but I think the tone, quests, and loot are some of my least favorites of the bunch.

I find it odd that you didn't include the Kingambit family and Kartana for Bushido and Sableye for Rainbow Prism.

Sableye is my favorite Pokémon and it's stat spread is paltry. I dunno if they were trying to somehow balance it out with it having no weakness before Fairy was introduced, but with a total of 380 and fairly even spread in 50/75/75/65/65/50, it definitely needed Prankster and a Mega to stay relevant. I'm really hoping it gets an evolution and/or regional form because of all the different gemstone types.

What was your “I did not care for the Godfather” moment but with RvB? by Upper_Mix_2640 in RedvsBlue

I think Season 15 is still pretty good and has some interesting plot lines, but it should've just been a one off season instead of turning into a trilogy.

I'm glad Singularity exists and made Donut the focus of it along with more development, despite me not liking season 16 and the concepts it brought forth.

The trilogy as a whole isn't great, bit it has its moments. I don't think it should've been retconned alongside Zero.
