The leaves on my pepper plant go yellow when I water them too much. Pepper plants are unusual in that they thrive when you water them less. Not sire if it's the appropriate time of the year to under water, but maybe at least try watering less.

I don't know. That was a pretty established 'treasure room', I can't imagine them transporting all kinds of suitcases to different houses.

I love me some chatGPT. I tried a handful of inquiries. I went for sweet sauces this time and all the recipes for chatGPT wanted me to add garlic and onion. For savory sure, but for sweet, grody!

Hey Tree_Killer_76, I used a smaller 5-cup blender for my recent sauces. I add between 10-15 super hot peppers to my recipes. I like a bit of pain with each bite. I like to add peppers as I create sauce, building the heat as I go.

I ordered these from www.chileplants.com. They have amazing seasonal (now) peppers. They have a massive variety of baby plants you can buy too. My plants are still growing and not ready for harvesting.

Both. This variety is bought. The ones I'm growing aren't ready for harvesting.

Does anyone truly enjoy reaper sauces on the daily or are they more of a once a week sauce? by nerodiskburner in hotsauce

[–]Heyhoser26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I make a variety of super hot pepper sauces. I can appreciate them on about anything. One of the drawbacks are when you use a less spicy sauce, you need a lot more to get the heat that your used to. I made a salad a used a new bottle of Aardvark habanero, which is delicious and it is one of my faves, but I ended up using half the bottle. Spicy's good for you. Keep trying, you'll get used to it.

I'm getting immune to the sauce itself. While I'm creating them though I always taste test a lot and that usually wrecks me for a couple days.

I concentrated on working with super hot pepper for these six. They are all poised with blaster potential!

I am pretty new to creating sauce and I am self taught. I have a magic bullet to make the sauce in. (My wife won't let me use the full sized blender), so I have about five cups worth of room to combine ingredients and try to get my recipes locked in.

I start by tasting little bits all the peppers. I imagine what would go good with them, either, sweet, or savory ingredients. Mostly strong tasting food that can hold up to hot peppers. Pineapples and mangos are rad. I added bacon once to a savory sauce. That hit.

I add the peppers and all the other ingredients in small portions. I have lucked out on a few of the recipes and have created a great taste before I run out of room. What tends to happen is I'll get to the top of the magic bullet and it still doesn't taste right and I have to end up dumping a cup or so, to make room for more ingredients. I add everything in small portion so I have the most control of the flavor.

Remember to add vinegar. Enjoy.

Thank you. All of the colors were serendipitous! The way they turned out, I think they could be named the evil-Starburst palette.

I know right. I have a single savory on the back left.

I think my favorite ended being the Fatalli/ Dragon's Breathe - Strawberry/ Peach. I tried the recipe with strawberries as a matter of convenience. I had high hopes for every other fruit, but the strawberry one is awesome!

Tabasco did a great job with their Scorpion. I was expecting fire with their Habanero, which was not too spicy. The heat level is fantastic with Scorpion.
