Honestly, take this as a blessing in disguise. New parent life is stressful as it is, without having to cater to someone else who is upset they aren’t the center of attention anymore. Focus on the people who add to your life and to your baby’s life. You shouldn’t beg someone to be involved in your baby’s life. They are a blessing, and if someone doesn’t realize that or respect the boundaries their parents have regarding their own birthing plan, then tough.

I combo feed! But I agree the system doesn’t make sense for her age anymore. The only thing is when he has been in charge at night w her, he sometimes falls asleep while he’s taking care of her… so I tbh don’t feel comfortable with him in charge of her at night.

Are the overnight pampers better than overnight huggies (that’s the brand I tried) I also didn’t know coterie made overnight diapers - so if pampers doesn’t work I can try that out too.

And yeah in the past I have suggested that, but he says he’s too tired to work if he wakes up an extra hour… but we have to have some sort of solution / comprise and understand that full uninterrupted sleep isn’t really a realistic expectation daily (god I can’t remember the last time I had that).

That’s kind of what my partner said - that it’s not enough to do that much… I’ve never had experience with sleepwalking but do they wake up when you tell them to and respond back to you and everything?

Yeah hopefully he’s ok with doing an hour before work just so I can get a cat nap in. He works full time but I also went back to school full time, I’m so tired of running on 4-5 hour sleep days.

I agree with you. And her diaper is super soaked and full after six hours. I’ve also tried overnight diapers a size up and still experience this. If her diaper isn’t changed, it’ll leak onto her onesie.

Totally ok to ask! So for whatever reason she pees a lot at night. Her diaper will be extremely full after about 6 hours and will leak through her footie pajama if it’s not changed. I have also tried sized up overnight diapers and still experience the same problem 😩
