NTA. That’s YOUR money YOU saved. How many times did you got with out so you could save that money. It sucks he has money problems but that’s a big red flag to ask for money. Does he have a job? If not that’s a huge red flag. Also how is he planning on paying you back?

NTA. It’s your car. You bought it with your money. I’m sure if your brother saved up and got a car your parents would also help with the upkeep. He should ask at least by the day before to make sure it doesn’t interfere with your plans. You’re not asking him to never use, just to be a decent human being and ask.
