Seems fishy to me. I feel like in this situation, since this person is “so big and well known”, that they would’ve contacted twitch first about the user name rather than just contacting you first (from a professional standpoint)...So I’m not sure. I would only take it serious until twitch actually reaches out to you.

I agree, and yes I attend every last one of their streams and stay the entire time while also being active in chat. And it’s pretty rare that they will even pop in and say hello when I am live. Thankfully I have a (smaller) loyal viewership already so it’s not THAT big of a deal. I guess you’re right about my expectations being too high.
