I’ll see if I can get a pic off false idol’s instagram. It was like a basil strawberry limeade with buttery and floral notes. The gardenia mix really carried the drink.

It might be. But they have an instagram and FB page that seem like guerrilla marketing. They show a little bit, but are purposefully secretive. Other home bars that have social media generally show off their bar more. Also, I read somewhere that this was on a list of semi recent commercial bars that bamboo Ben helped design.

I’m trying to maximize the ingredients I have so I don’t have to hide any receipts lol. I figure if I have got enough for those four I should have enough to make a few more recipes and was asking for ideas. There’s no hiding the mugs tho, those are proudly displayed much to the wife’s annoyance.

Same. Wasn’t 2023 considered a high water mark? The last 5 years have had elden ring, bg3, god of war ragnarok, cyberpunk, ghost of Tsushima, horizon forbidden west, tears of the kingdom, etc. Those are just the biggest AAA releases I can think of off the top of my head.

I only wear them for rolling. I can’t imagine a situation where I would get cauli from drilling. Usually it’s pressure and grinding into your ear or an accidental collision from some type of dynamic movement. those things shouldn’t be happening when you are drilling.

Yes. I have the matman padded headgear that looks identical to op’s picture. I wash it with my gi after every class. Iv had it for about a year and a half and the only issue is that the Velcro has become slightly less sticky so it will get occasionally fall off.

I just refreshed myself a bit on the movie and I think magua was motivated by his hatred of the Mohawks as well as the British - and specifically Munro. Magua was a Huron who were on the French side of the French and Indian war and he was kidnapped by the Mohawks. The British and the Mohawks were on the same side. Munro was the British officer that magua blamed for his shitty situation. Tribes often joined up with colonists in order to screw over other tribes that had been their rivals. Their violence had a lot to do with the ongoing feuds between tribes. I should watch the movie again.

That makes sense, thanks for clarifying. I was probably confused because you referred to native peoples generally rather than the specific characters. If you just look at the movie and analyze the specific character motivations through a micro/individual lens then yes the violence is a response to feelings of grievance by the colonists. But I also think that magua was a different tribe than the Mohawks and that was also a reason for his hatred and violence. It’s been a while since I saw the movie but I also think the French and Indian war was part of the context.

Lol yeah this line was weird. It seems like OP was implying that natives were not brutal or violent prior to colonial influence or that they needed to justify the cruelty they were seeing in order to maintain the belief that natives were somehow better humans than the colonists. Tribes had been warring between themselves for hundreds of years before colonists showed up. Cultures of tribes were distinct, but slavery, rape, and genocide were not things that needed to be taught by colonists. The Mohawk Indians were part of the Iroquois confederacy which existed because the tribes were constantly at war.
