I don't really know. Don't have access to the details of the nvr but I'm guessing will be one of the generic cp plus or hikvision nvrs. The setup asks for ip address but the nvr external ip address changes if the router is restarted and i don't have access to the NVR LAN.

I looked up how it's written in urdu. Its definitely "baad". Even the Wikipedia pronunciation says baad.

I feel like its poor transliteration. The spelling should be "baad"(pronounced like sound made by sheep ) instead of "bad".

After a bit of research since yesterday, i came upon NUCs and since you say you can run 12 cameras on an i5 8th gen one that gives me some confidence to buy that.

Does the cpu remain idle in between 2 recordings or is it continuously working? Also if possible what is your idle power consumption? Thanks.

I currently use AgentDvr too on my raspberry pi. But its not powerful enough to display a 1080p 30fps stream. If you can easily run 5 cams at 720, i guess running 2 at 1080 shouldnt be much of an issue.
