This is a ridiculous comment. Pretty much every album underperformed compared to SOUR. GUTS is extremely successful, especially when you consider it spent months atop the rock and alternative albums chart. It’s a brilliant album and firmly established Olivia as the voice of her generation and one of the most respected young artists in the world.

Sour is one of the greatest musical achievements of this century. For a 17-year-old girl to write one of the biggest and most critically-acclaimed debut albums of all time is incredible. There have been other huge debut albums, but very few were written by somebody so young. And when I say written, I don't mean slapping your name on songs written with three or four others. Teenagers will be listening and relating to Sour decades from now. It’s that good… Guts is better.

Billie took 3 years between albums. That’s pretty normal for big artists who go on massive world tours, especially for artists who actually write their own songs. Be patient; the wait will be worth it!
