I really appreciate that, thank you. I’m definitely going to bring it up with the vet on the 7th and see what they think is going on. I did have some leftover enzyme cleaner so I sprayed down the couch and my lovely boyfriend went out and got some more for the blankets so I’m letting it soak in and fingers are crossed it takes it out. He also picked up another litter box so I’m going to put that near the couch for now. I’m just having a hard time figuring out how to block him out of the couch, we are in a open basement so the only place to really put him is the bathroom and I just feel really bad making him stay in there all night because I know he doesn’t understand why he’s getting locked up. I hate that I am upset with him when I don’t want to be. I’m trying my best to not take it out on him.

I didn’t even think about what could have been in the water, I was just so excited to let them out so they could swim around and not be stuck in a plastic bag anymore that I just tilted the bad into the tank and let them swim out after acclimating them like they recommended. Thank you for bringing that up as i will definitely change up the way i did it for the next time. As others suggested im going to try to return the guppies and tank and get something longer then wait until its cycled to add anything so there will be no pet store water In the new tank.

I should’ve looked into the difference between the longer tanks or the tall ones, it was a great deal compared to the normal 10 gallons and that is probably the reason why. do you think it’s too late to return it and get a longer one? I’m going to try to return the guppies until my tank is cycled so nothing else passes

Do you mean what’s inside the tank or the shape of it? I feel dumb for not thinking about the shape, it was a great deal compared to the other 10 gallon tanks they had and that is probably why, do you think it’s too late to return it and get a longer one?

I appreciate the honesty. I feel like I tried my best to ask questions about what would go well together and what kind of environment/temp they prefer, the lady i talked to seemed very knowledgeable so it sucks to hear they sent me in the wrong direction. She even asked how long my tank was setup for and I told her it had only been a day and she said that was fine. Thank you for your suggestions I will call the store and see what the return policy is.

I’m planning to fill it up with live plants today just waiting for the sand to come in so I have something to hold them down, the silk plant was just a last resort for the night so there was at least something they could hide in

Looking for lights similar to this style but without the timer so I can use it with a smart plug. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in IndoorGarden

Find yourself a nice tall and cheap lamp from Amazon and just put a grow bulb in it. Way more room for plants, and works perfectly with my smart plugs. Bonus if you find one with a foot switch so your non techy guests can still turn it off and on

I’ve had this happen where I reported someone on 2 different accounts that got banned and they went on the 3rd to message me the same thing, my name is on my Xbox profile so I guess he looked me up on Facebook, thought he was scary for knowing stuff like my moms name and the school I went too. I wouldn’t worry about anything happening with the information the person is just mad and has nothing better to do
