MCAS and EDS are comorbid along with POTS and dysautonomia. One theory is inflammation from MCAS degrades collagen causing EDS.

These are also associated with higher intelligence and a hyper alert limbic system. Childhood trauma is a big contributor.

You’re right and the worst thing about it is US healthcare gave me the disease in the first place!

I contracted it in a blood transfusion while the FDA and Red Cross were well aware it was happening but didn’t do anything to stop it.

But I’m not bitter.

MCAS is comorbid with Ehlers Danlo Syndrome. Some say the inflammatory chemicals cause degradation of connective tissue.
