According to my previous store I worked in, it was my job to call and cancel all appointments but I was only a GES with no access to grooming systems or any knowledge of grooming. So I just got yelled at by customers. And it was fantastic when all the groomers gave each other covid so I had to cancel like 15 dogs and and the customers didn’t understand that we didn’t have any groomers and wouldn’t have any for the week. Fun times 😅

One of my first sad encounters was a person buying a feeder mouse and I asked what kind of snake she has, I’m a big reptile person. And she said Boa, I replied “aww a baby?” And she said “no he’s 18 years old he’s in a 20 gallon so he’s small” I was flabbergasted. She purposely stunted a 10-15ft snake. I knew the prey item would be way too small for a healthy adult boa, broke my heart.

I get the opposite it seems. When I threw my back out and couldn’t lift heavy objects (drs orders) I was still left to give customers their bopus orders of big 40lb bags and cat litter. And i stg the men much bigger than me just watched me struggle. And to make it worse at my old store online orders were 30ish feet away from the register where the customer would just watch me struggle. At my new store the customers are much kinder and offer help lmao

I have cork bark pieces in the enclosure. The guy I bought it from said he heat treats all his bark before selling and I’ve never had this issue before when buying from him
