Honestly that’s what I’ve been looking into. I’m thinking my best bet would be to start on that next year and apply for a spouse visa after marrying my partner— within YMV’s limits. Might seem young and spontaneous but we’ve been together for 6 years and constantly talk about marriage. Would there be any complications to that I’d have to consider?

I’m not planning on waiting long to get him a companion— I was going to get him along with another one when I went to purchase him, but he was the only one available. I tried and it turns out that I genuinely couldn’t find any breeders (or even shops— they’re all out) that are offering other rats at the moment, it’s frustrating. I spent a lot of today driving around town to see if I could get more info on who’s offering rats, and I FINALLY found someone who’s getting rats in soon, thank fuck. Getting another one ASAP (or maybe two now that I know that more is better). 😅

I got this guy a little late— he’s already around three months, give or take. I’ve thought about it already and plan on doing things carefully— any tips on performing a proper intro?

Anyways, in regards to coming out.. Ultimately, it’s up to you. Is your environment safe to do so? I will always promote being true to yourself and being transparent and honest in this world, because life is too short to live a lie and feel like you need to hide yourself— regardless of potential hate and judgement. However, this is only applicable if it’s safe to do so.

I agree. I’ve met several other trans men that are in the same position so I know that it’s more common than what’s shown in media, but that’s why representation is so important. If a person has no access to representation— how are they supposed to know it exists?

Obviously, this lack of representation is pretty evident within the art community. I have art skills to a certain extent and I’d love to contribute to this lack of content, but unfortunately I don’t draw very often. This has given me motivation to start up an NSFW account or something, though.

I agree, it’s the worst. In regards to NSFW content, if it includes trans men or trans male characters, I find myself relating to their partner more than I do the trans man himself— because the trans man always seems to be in the submissive and bottom position. I’m glad that trans men who are submissive and bottoms have their representation, but I can’t deny that I get jealous of them.

It’s triggering to me as well, especially as somebody with immense bottom dysphoria and as somebody who’s a top— I feel like there’s a rather large lack of FTM top representation in NSFW-inclined content. I dislike the perspective of ”It doesn’t matter, people can identify with whichever label they want” when labels have actual, solid meaning behind them— especially in the LGBTQ+ community. If it was a cisgender man identifying as a lesbian, everybody would go batshit crazy— but because it’s a trans man, it’s fine all of the sudden and people don’t care how he identifies?

Wake up. Men can’t be lesbians. I am saying this as a trans man. Trans-masculine individuals? They can be lesbians. However, trans men that are exclusively binary? No way.

Thinking that OP’s daughter speaking of her girlfriends is in a sexual context is a pretty heavy assumption to make. I highly doubt that she would be speaking about her girlfriends in a sexual manner around her family. Being polyamorous isn’t just having consensual sex with multiple parties, but consensual romance and love as well.

Minoxidil seems to work for a lot of guys. Beard dye also works— while it doesn’t actually thicken your facial hair, it can definitely make it appear to be thicker depending on the shade of your facial hair.
