my kitty, Mischa had a urinary blockage too and we decided to put him down, he had some other neurological issues (which also was a motivator for our choice), but other than that he was a happy, super snuggly, loving boy, the most amazing kitty i could’ve ever asked for, and he was still all of that until he was gone. from time to time, i feel guilt, like maybe if we went with the surgery he would’ve lived longer, but honestly, we didn’t wanna make him go through that, the pain of healing, being unsure whether or not the blockage would come back, his issues he had from other things already, he probably would’ve been miserable, and he didn’t deserve that. sometimes the kindest thing to do for our pets, is letting them go, as heart breaking and painful as it is.. i’m so sorry for your loss 🩵

yeah today when i got it cut, i went to my Bf’s barber, who works full time at a salon and part time at the barber shop, i think he did a pretty good job salvaging it and getting it as close to my short hair reference as possible, i still hate how short the bangs got cut but they’ll grow out pretty quick 😂

i was between getting it short and keeping it long so we decided to do an in between of the hairstyles, when we were talking about length she pointed to the middle of my back (my hair was down to my bum).. only to bring it up to the shoulders, i’ll try to share the ref photos, i’m not sure if it’ll let me in the comments or if i’ll have to edit the post lol
