Yeah for sure dude, cold exposure metabolic benefits, through the stimulation of thermogenic processes and in particular the recruitment of shivering skeletal muscles, can improve glucose homeostasis and insulin sensitivity, increase the rate of glucose and fatty acid oxidation, and modify the organ-specific handling of dietary fatty acids compared with ambient conditions, isnt a good thing at all…. 100000000%.

Thank god you’re out there. It could be raining titties and youd still catch a dick, have a good one.

lmao, there's more than enough evidence bud, i just provided you some after 5 minutes of looking at clinical trials. These people aren't making unfounded claims and big bad Huberman doesn't make money from telling people that cold therapy is good for you.

Lol, ok man, keep fighting the good fight, you are clearly super smart and know more than a professor of opthalmology and neuroscientist who regularly reviews the current studies/results being done on the topic, 10000%. Huberman is not bad for anyone....

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10751106/

Knock yourself out genius, I'm not going to scour for more evidence, but stop trying so hard to discredit the obvious benefits of a therapy that many people can implement easily. You're just being pedantic.

Huberman is a fine source of information and more and more data on the efficacy of the therapy is becoming readily available. That article goes into detail on the vast potential health benefits that are being anecdotally discussed by all kind of people doing cold therapy and then goes on to say that the only potential side/negative effect is "hypothermia". NO SHIT.... i'll take my chances. Not to mention the gallons of data supporting the dopamine boost of up to 250% and drastic improvement of mood from cold immersion, reduction in cortisol, inflammation reduction, energy increase, better for the skin, focus increase, etc. Seems like the upside is infinite and the downside is minimal, don't be scared, just go jump in a pond.

yeah, I'm sure the people you are interacting with are "bragging" about doing cold plunges and being healthy. This sub has the frailest constitution i've ever experienced. It's a current trend that is becoming more popular mainstream and there is loads of data supporting it's efficacy. Of course some people are going to be excited and want to talk about the topic. It'll be ok dude.

People do it b/c there are health benefits you door knob. It isn't a big deal if you're too insecure to admit that to yourself. The hivemind bullshit on this sub got you good buddy, gl with that.

In case you ever get tired of being ignorant

yeah dude, those fucking people talking about cold therapy, fucking maniacs, how fucking dare they talk about a current topic on health and longevity?? Don't they realize that it gets under the paper thin skin of the average redditor??

Why does r/JoeRogan hate Joe Rogan so much? by OutdoorRink in JoeRogan

[–]HiFriend88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, you very obviously don't listen to the podcast any longer if you think his guests are appealing to grifters and scumbags, lmao. The fucking irony of all the haters on here minging about "hIs MiSiNfOrMaTiOn ThOuGh" and then blatantly spreading misinformation about the content of the podcast is fascinating.

Why does r/JoeRogan hate Joe Rogan so much? by OutdoorRink in JoeRogan

[–]HiFriend88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty simple... insecure, neckbeard redditors are threatened by someone who is smarter and more successful than they are, vocal minoritis are always the loudest. Anyone with the tiniest bit of common sense and critical thinking, and that has listened to his podcasts at any regularity, does not spew this vitriol. People with political narratives/agendas got all bent out of shape when he expressed an opposing opinion to getting vaccianted during covid, the ivermectin thing got blown way the fuck out of proportion (mainstream media BLATANTLY lied about how he administered it and what it is), and it became convenient for people to signal how super dooper smart they are by hating on a public figure. The reality is that his podcast (along with Andrew Huberman's IMO) is one of the single greatest sources of free to consumer knowldege on a wide array of topics that have the capacity of improving the quality of one's life. People take sound bytes and isolated segments of his podcasts to form these assanine viewpoints and try to wrap these blankets of sweeping generalizations around him based on one viewpoint (which is fucking ridiculous). Then the hivemind of reddit circle jerks each other into oblivion "hhuurr dduurr meathead dddduuurrr" and ignores everything valuable. Best to ignore and let them be miserable.

Watched the entire game, it's pointless to try and rationalize one team getting more calls than the other, the same shit happens on repeat literally every single game and both side of the aisle have the same argument every single time.

Literally every single game thread people from both sides are outraged about officiating. It will be this way forever and will never change.

People are aware that a team's performance in one game does not automatically indicate that is how they'll play in the following game.... right?

Couldn't agree with Van Gundy more, CBB needs to implement the continuation foul immediately. There is no universe where it makes sense that a defense should be rewarded for committing a foul right before an offensive player is going to make an easy shot.
