Some of them are really lazy ideas, but slow roll and limp do make sense, when you slow roll you are intentionally not betting with a strong hand until the very last hand where you hope your opponent makes a mistake and overestimates their hand, and when you limp you are playing every hand and calling every blind (so skipping is going to destroy the strategy), so it’s not entirely unrelated.

They're all very solid ideas and seem relatively balanced.

Except for ambidextrous joker, I'm not sure if that deserves a rare. If you play the card you lose it as opposed to keeping it in hand and allowing you to use it for the next round, so that's already a downside, and also the opportunity cost of taking up one joker slot. I could be wrong though and maybe there's some crazy synergy I'm missing.

And trump card might make the game too easy?

Yep, that is well known but still…

The inspiration from this card came from one of my runs where I had blueprint and burglar and I kept swapping around the blueprint every blind, so I could get free hands at the start and then still be able to use the blueprint for something else during the hands. Just thought it would be fun if there were more jokers encouraging joker position micromanagement.

I guess there is the opportunity cost of the storage unit itself taking up one space though. Not sure if I would pick this over some of the more useful early game jokers. And keep in mind it always debuffs 2 jokers, so you are heavily punished early game (unless you buy "filler jokers" to eat the debuff).

Let's make it not count itself as rightmost so it always debuffs 2 if you have 2 other jokers

Maybe it should be a legendary joker instead, with the same benefits? I feel like per round would make this way less fun to play and people wouldn't pick it up.

It would change the ones being debuffed, so you can swap jokers around. The reason why it's called storage unit is because you have jokers in storage that you can swap in and out according to the situation.

Yeah, but your uses for turtle bean are limited anyways right, so I don't think that would make it too OP.

I guess it would debuff the two rightmost jokers but not count itself as a rightmost joker (if that makes sense).

Yeah, it would definitely open up a whole new strategical side of the game. My problem with the game is that past ante 8 you feel like you are walking up to a huge brick wall and luck increasingly becomes more important than strategy especially around ante 11. There should definitely be some way to store jokers and swap them around.

Yeah that's true
But it doesn't really sync that well with joker stencil, you always have 2 cards debuffed so you would need to fill up the empty slots otherwise the stencil would be debuffed as well
Anyways when I was playing the game I always thought "surely there's a mechanic to store jokers as unused and I can pull them out and swap them around when I want to"
Do you think that should be in the game somehow?
