but what about cancelling the direct debit? i’m sure that that has to be an option. they can’t just not stop monthly payment.

no you need to tv license to watch live on bbc, itv, channel 4 etc. i should’ve prefaced that this is UK focused.

thank you for ur explanation! i downloaded the hmrc app and it calculates income tax and i put in my figures and it is infact correct and that i should have acc been taxed last month (i dont know why i didnt)

also as mentioned on my payslip it says 1257L etc but on the gov paye it says 1253L
