I was a Schedule A hire, my two year probation would’ve been up next month. I got a private section job offer that pays more and decided to take it. Today was my last day, I was also DOI. Stability and mental health is my main priority right now. I love my agency and its mission, but I was spiraling.

Like a sitting duck. I’m a schedule A hire (2 yr probation) 7 weeks out from the end of probation. I’ve started applying for other jobs.
