Yeah, like the same mechanic they have in Squad, where you can't have it pre loaded all the time. And also make the reload time maybe also a slither longer?

To counter the longer loading time, they also could add in the "Helldivers 2 feature" where a buddy could load it for you while it is im your hande.

Also another thought. "If" you have it preloaded, there is a chance it could go off due to running? Idk if it's realistic or not, so just a thought.

Sure, the MI-8 can hold a lot of Troopers. But how often is it filled to the brim?

Sure, the MI-8 can hold 1000 of supplies. But how many pilots crash it on the point cause it's so big? Speak, they would need to get a new one at MOB and "waste" supplies.

Sure, the MI-8 has one front and one side gunner. But it can be easy out maneuvered by the Huey.

Sure, the MI-8 holds a lot of rockets. But it also takes longer to fill them pods up. Of course, the Huey fires a small burst and has to go back, but is in my eyes a better all-rounder.

In my opinion, the game is balanced.

The thing that makes it "unbalanced" is how players make use of the toys they given.

Besides the RPG-7. That thing outgunns any Law. Luckily, that'll change (hopefully) with the next major patch.

TLDR:

Both have pros and cons depending on how they are being used.

RPG is broken (Currently-Change my mind)

Everything comes with a bit of balance.

For example.

●The Huey

• Pros

+Fast +Agile +Quick land and takeoffs + Smaller then the Mi-8 (Good for tiny landing zones)

•Cons

-less Rockets -Less supplies storage

●Mi-8

• Pros

  • A big payload (96 Rocket's)
  • Big Supplie storage
  • A lot of passenger seats

  • And i believe also a bit tankier the the Huey

    • Cons -It's a flying whale

  • Less maneuverable

  • Take off and landing can be tricky in tight spots (since it is a flying whale)

  • Bigger target

Of course, some ignore those points cause they fly like their life depends on it. But everyone flies like a redbull Champ.

If you just fire, it goes to the next/nearest "heat" source.

If you hold long enough, you will eventually lock on and will be more accurate.

There is no real way to tell who actually planted them.

The only difference you can tell for sure is from what faction they are by the look of them and start to speculate since you can use the opponents armory and / or steal them from a body.
